Melaka (Malacca) Malay Empire is once a powerful and prosperous empire. The empire was located in the middle of Peninsular Malaysia next to Melaka Street. The Empire is well known due to its systematic harbor management where most of the income came from Tax derived from ships and vessels. In 2007, the City of Melaka was announced as one of the UNESCO’s World Heritage City.
