The Colours

The Peoples

The Skies

The Red Buildings
I had an errant to deal with last month in Muar Johor. My initial plan was not involve Melaka. Last minute call from Ridzhan and Hafiza (his wife) had totally changed my mind. From Muar, I diverted my course to Melaka and arrived at Ayer Keroh around 6pm. From there, I requested my father to drive my car back home. Ridzhan picked me up and from there we shoot straight away to Melaka. Our initial plan was to have seafood dinner in Kuala Ibai. However, it was changed to Jalan2 “cari pasal” in Bandar Melaka. Night view in Jonker Street was great. Not to forget, Melaka River cruise in which I didn’t not snap any picture during the cruise…pity… We finally had our dinner at 11.30 pm…lucky me…Ridzhan was the driver that night…Hafizah?...kroh krohh all the way back to Shah Alam.
Photographing night view of Melaka was not a simple task. I have to play around with the ISO to maintain the shutter speed and at the same time I have to ensure the quality of the picture is acceptable with minimal noise. Beside that, white balance value is vary crucial. Basically I have to experiment with various values under different condition. The streets were all red and made it very difficult to capture other colours.
