Drum or in Malay we called it gendang is a common traditional instrument in Malaysia. This picture was taken few month ago during my cousin’s wedding reception in Kota Baharu, Kelantan. My uncle hired a group of very young and talented teenagers to perform a traditional Kelantanese Malay music symphony during the reception. It turns out well and the group was accompanied by a Silat Gayong (Malay martial art) performance.
