Bus Engine

Bus Engine
On our back from Cameron highland, the bus that we ride had trouble with it gear box. The gear just could not shift. The bus driver decided to stop to check what happened. Luckily we found a bus parking area in front of an isolated supermarket in between Cameron highland and Simpang Pulai. We still have 45 minutes of corners and deep slope road condition to go. I rang a mechanic to check what happened and guess what…the gear pads were totaled. In addition to that, the brakes also leak without any reason. The mechanic manages to fix the gear box and he personally asked the bus to be towed to his workshop. He told us that he need at least two days to properly fix the gear. Since we don’t have time for that, the bus driver (Uncle Mogan) decided to continue the journey despite having gear and brakes problem... in order for the gear to shift…the bus have to stop…every time…
Holly macaroni…
I just have to agree with him since he is the one who with the experience. We start our journey again after two hours of waiting on that parking lot. The thing that made me pale came from the fact that I’m responsible for 34 other lifes...and Uncle Mogan, the bus driver happens to be responsible for 35. ^_^… the bus continues with the downhill journey with a top speed of 50 km/hr. It took us 1 hour to arrive at Simpang Pulai. The initial journey supposes to be just around 20 minutes. I prayed to God every minute during that downhill journey. Luckily, after the bus stopping for more than ten times just to shift gear in between downhill and uphill, we arrived at Simpang Pulai.
Haaah...
