I’m pretty sure that this picture was taken in Gold Coast, Australia. I went to the beach at the end of spring last year. It’s a hot year for Queensland and I hate the hot weather. Channel 9 is one of the main stream media which could be found in Australian tele. Well, I used to watch their Friday night movie marathon. The reporter in the picture was reporting about shark attack that happened in gold coast sometimes in September (if I’m not mistaken). Some Australian beaches are well known for their shark attack story and I’ve been to some of it. Most of the beach are shallow and the attach come from the deeper part of the beach. Mostly surfers are prominent to the attack because they seldom go further compared to swimmers. As a whole, I still think Australia’s beaches are safe because it is guarded by a well trained life guard and well managed alarm system that will alert people if there’s danger in the water.
