Hi guys. I can sense my passiveness this week. Maybe it is due to the hot weather and the haze yesterday. My entry for today is the picture that I took last Saturday with Endz. Finally I manage to edit few pictures for Ana and Yus wedding reception and outdoor photo shoot. Both of them are very eager to be photographed. During the reception I faced no problem asking them to smile to the crows and especially for my lens. For the Bersanding day, Ana and Yus had chosen purple as their wedding theme. It looks nice on them and the available light on the wedding day was a great add on for me. The sunlight was just nice for me to capture the highlight and mid-tones therefore reduce overexpose region in their pictures.
The outdoor session was initially scheduled to be held in The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, Sentul Park, Jalan Strachan Kuala Lumpur. When we enter the park, I can see a lot lot lot lot lot lot of nice places for their wedding picture. Sentul Park is the location in which an old train station was located. The station area was converted to a nice looking park with terrific contrast background colors which good for their dress that they were wearing on that day. There’s an old building with a nice background texture. I’ve only manage to capture few photos with that background (look at the picture with the brick behind Yus and Ana) before I’ve been told by the security guard that we can’t photograph anything on the park….darnnn… arghhh… what a disappointing fact that I have to face that afternoon.
After a quick discussion, I suggested a new location to Endz and the Pengantin. They agreed. We went to International Islamic University (IIUM) Gombak to continue the outdoor session since I’m once a student there. I do seriously think that IIUM’s landscape is good. We finished with the session just after the Maghrib Azan with a smiling face and itchy body (Endz and me were basically lying on the grass most of the time) …hehe.
