Grandmother

Canon 40D, F2.8, Shutter 1/32s, Aperture priority,ISO 800, 50mm, Kampung Bukit Kapar, Meru, -7-2-2009- My grandmother, while she talks about the past...she can describe how the Japs come to Malaya (especially to Muar) in details, what happened to her family and the situation during the Japanese occupation in 1942-1945… Her age is about 90-95 years old. We never know her exact age because her birthday was never properly recorded. She told us that her father did mention to her that her birth certificate was made just after her age reaches 10 or more. So, we never celebrate her birthday all this while. But I do seriously think her whole life is a celebration because she is surrounded by her loved one. Giving birth to 13 children, a grandmother of more than 100 grandchildren and a great-great grandmother of more than 20 great-great grandchildren, she surely is a lucky person. Lucky to have her as my grandmother.
